Abstract

The use of compost can increase physical, chemical and biological fertility. Ultisol is a type of soil that reacts with acid and is very low in micro and macro nutrients. Forage Kumpai (Hymenachne amplxicaulis) is a type of forage that has the potential as fodder for livestock. This grass needs to be developed because it is a germplasm and natural wealth that needs to be preserved. Therefore, research on the use of compost to improve soil fertility as a place for developing forage for livestock needs to be carried out.
